I'm primarily interested in the Silk Road story because of the way it engineered the perfect demand shock while I've found that a LOT of the claims about the site being much more than scam artists, blackmailers, and cosplay drug lords setting up as vendors and selling real quantities of drugs to be pure fantasy. Never mind the logistics of sending substances across the country or across the ocean and risking federal or even international smuggling charges to be beyond credibility. The only thing I ever successfully ordered from Silk Road was Bitcoin.
